HGTV's "Gardening by the Yard" series recently taped several segments at Hoffman Gardens, including segments about reseeding annuals, building raised beds, inexpensive gardening ideas, small trees for small yards and birdbaths. Look for these segments in future "Gardening by the Yard" episodes, which airs on Saturdays and Sundays on HGTV.
This year's dying California poppy plants provide the seeds for next year's wildflowers.
